Phase 1: The Abstract

Summarize & Outline Your Great Idea!

You’ve registered for the Project & Pitch, now what?!

Phase 1:

It is time to begin outlining your great idea to impact a global goal.

The Abstract allows you to consider the stakeholders of your project, to begin to sketch out next steps, a budget, and your plan to turn this idea into action.

NEW IN 2023! Impact Toolbox has created an online course exclusively for SDC Teams to support you as your design your project and Pitch Abstract!

Check out the course HERE! Once you’ve completed your registration you’ll be sent an exclusive coupon code to allow you to access all of this incredible course content for free!

We are here to support you in this process! Please do not hesitate to reach out to Antonia, SD Challenge Coordinator, with any questions: SDC@bccic.ca

You will bring your 1st Draft of the Abstract to our SDC Mentor Night (December 1, 6-8pm) where you will have the opportunity to discuss your ideas with experts in the field of business, leadership, sustainability, and impact making.

The Final Draft of the Abstract will be submitted on December 21 where it will be reviewed by the Challenge Committee to determine which teams will move forward into Phase 2: Presenting at the SDC Finale in February.
