Decision Criteria for Art Exhibits
Our project celebrates the power of expression over perfection. It's not about the technical skills or traditional measures of artistic talent; rather, we seek art that speaks, that conveys a message.
Message Match: Our main focus is how your art's message aligns with the themes of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as interpreted by youth voices. How does your voice reflect these important global conversations?
Audience Connection: We're looking for art that has been created with care and intention - have you thought about how to provoke thought and evoke a response from your audience? Will they keep thinking about your art and talking about it? Have you create art that is suitable for all ages?
Diversity and Representation: It’s not just about each individual piece, it’s about how they all fit together in the exhibits. It's essential to showcase a diverse range of youth perspectives and styles, ages and themes, especially as they relate to the SDGs.
Size and Suitability: While we strive to exhibit as many pieces as possible, there are practical limitations, especially with size or specific display needs. Our goal is to find the right spot for as many works as we can!
